Marshall W. Waller is certified as a Family Law Specialist through the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California.
A Certified Family Law Specialist must pass an extensive written examination in the subject area, be approved by a peer review process and show proficiency in this area by demonstrating experience handling a sufficient number of family law cases with varying degrees of complexity.
Marshall Waller is admitted to practice before all the courts in the State of California, the United States Federal Court, the Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court and Court of Claims. He is a director and shareholder of Feinberg & Waller, A Professional Corporation.
Marshall Waller taught family law as a professor of law and has written a University-level textbook in the area of California Family Law, published by Wolters Kluwer, currently in its seventh edition. He has also written a book designed for use by professionals and lay persons alike titled Essentials of California Family Law.
He has published a study guide for attorney applicants studying to become certified family law specialists. His practice is in all areas of family law, including a focus on complex custody and marital property issues and high conflict matters.
