Martha A. Taylor was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2008 and then began working as an Associate Attorney at Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP.Since joining the firm, she has been an advocate for plaintiffs, specializing in representing a wide variety of victims and injured persons.
The emphasis of Ms. Taylor’s practice is personal injury (including automobile accidents, dog bites and general negligence), wrongful death, medical negligence, product liability and wrongful termination/employment discrimination.
Background and Education Ms.Taylor was born and raised in Corning, California and has been a California resident her entire life. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000 and her Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School in 2008.
During her time at Lincoln Law School, Ms. Taylor was committed to academic excellence and received Dean’s List Honors in four semesters and received American Jurisprudence awards in the subjects of Corporations/Agency and Remedies.
While working toward her law degree in the evening, Ms. Taylor worked full-time for three years during the day at Wilcoxen Callaham, LLP as a clerk to Daniel E. Wilcoxen. Admissions and Memberships Ms. Taylor is admitted to practice in all the superior courts in California.
She is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association.
Personal When she is not working, Ms. Taylor enjoys improving her golf game, cooking and spending time with her terrier, Truman.
