An associate with Estey & Bomberger since 2011, Mary Bajo has represented clients injured on construction sites, in auto, motorcycle and bicycle collisions, by dangerous products in mass tort litigation, and from childhood sexual abuse.
Bajo’s primary focus is on institutional child sexual abuse cases, meaning the child was under the care of a school, day care, after-school program, or sports program at the time he or she was sexually abused.
Due to her deep knowledge of, and passion for, the topic, she was asked to be a panelist at the 22nd International Summit on Violence, Abuse & Trauma, in a conference program entitled Sexual Solicitation, Misconduct, & Abuse of Students by School Personnel: Challenges, Resources & Recommendations.
Bajo’s work prior to joining Estey & Bomberger includes positions at Timothy M. Cary and Associates (public education law), the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office (misdemeanor and DUI division) and the office of former California Assemblyman Anthony Adams.
Bajo’s education includes a Bachelor of Science from University of Nevada, Reno with a major in Political Science and a Juris Doctor from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.
