Mary Lane Lewis Falkner

Mary Lane Lewis Falkner focuses her practice in areas like estate planning,  commercial transactions, probate, bankruptcy, business formation, landlord & tenant issues, and business planning. She serves as an attorney with the law firm, Lewis, Lewis & Falkner, LLC based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She acquired the permission to practice law before the state and federal courts in Alabama in 2010.

She obtained her B.A., cum laude in Philosophy and Spanish from the University of Alabama in 2007. She earned her Juris Doctorate in Law in 2010 and LLM in Taxation in 2012 from the University of Alabama. While in law school, she was a member of the Law & Psychology Review at the Dorbin Association.

While studying law, she served as a Summer Associate in the law firm, Lewis, Smyth & Winter P.C. in 2008 and 2009. After obtaining the law degree, she started working with the law firm, Lewis, Smyth & Ford LLC as an Attorney.

She served as a board member of the ARC of Tuscaloosa County from 2013 to 2016. She served as the President at Kappa Delta, Tuscaloosa Alumnae Association. She serves as a Historian at Phi Beta Kappa, University of Alabama Executive Committee since 2011. She also serves as a Board Member of Tuscaloosa Community Dancers since 2012.
