Mary Procaccio-Flowers is an intellectual property attorney in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She represents clients before federal and state courts, as well as the International Trade Commission. Mary has prepared and delivered direct examinations for fact and expert witnesses at trial, taken and defended depositions, argued at hearings, and drafted winning legal documents in various high-stakes litigations.
She has worked on technology matters involving cellular communication standards, digital and analog circuitry designs, digital signal processors, power-over-Ethernet technology, Internet security software, and interactive home security, monitoring, and control software, as well as pharmaceuticals.
Mary also advises companies regarding the impact of intellectual property and intellectual property litigation on a variety of corporate transactions. Mary has also represented a number of pro bono clients, including individuals seeking asylum and conservation organizations in environmental litigation.
Mary externed for the Honorable Charles R. Breyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Prior to that, she interned at Amnesty International in Sydney, Australia. Before attending law school, Mary taught elementary and junior high school.
Mary is currently a member of the Associates Committee, which serves as the collective voice of the firm’s non-member attorneys, and the Education Committee.
