Mary Robberson is a partner with Higgs Fletcher & Mack. She joined the firm in 1997. Her litigation practice has two main focus areas, commercial litigation and cross-border litigation.
Her commercial practice includes litigation in franchise and general business, as well as judgment enforcement and defense. Her cross-border practice encompasses business litigation involving parties from Spanish speaking countries and transportation/risk litigation.
The gamut of Ms. Robberson’s practice spans from jurisdictional and forum related-issues, through trial and judgment enforcement against domestic and foreign defendants, as well as alter ego and successor liability matters.
A growing area of her practice is providing business owners and executives alter ego and corporate veil piercing audit services in light of the growing risk to assets of individual business owners resulting from lawsuits against their companies.
Ms. Robberson’s accomplishments include a published opinion before the California Court of Appeal and expert witness testimony before the Beit Din, the West Coast Rabbinical Court, on the issue of business practices related to the construction industry.
She has presented at various Latin community-focused informational seminars and, in the past, has co-hosted the “De Viva Voz” radio show on Univision’s Recuerdo 102.9 FM.
Ms. Robberson is admitted to practice law in the United States Southern, Northern, Eastern and Central District Courts of California.
Ms. Robberson serves on the ALFA International Board of Directors and is one of Higgs Fletcher & Mack’s contact partners for ALFA International.
