Mason R. Winters’ practice focuses, and has always focused, on defending employers in disputes with employees and advising employers on how to avoid those disputes before they arise. More specifically, Mr. Winters defends employers in single-plaintiff and multi-plaintiff actions in state and federal court, in arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
His litigation practice focuses on actions involving claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. Mr. Winters also advises employers large and small on compliance with state, federal, and local employment laws and on avoiding litigation under those laws.
In this regard, he advises employers on a range of issues, including FMLA/CFRA leave, disability accommodation, wage and hour, employee privacy, employee compensation, and termination and discipline, among others.
Mr. Winters provides responsive, high quality, and efficient service to employers in an array of industries, including healthcare, entertainment, telecom, manufacturing, temporary staffing, finance, real estate, and retail.
