Matthew D. Bivona’s practice includes all aspects of finance, corporate and securities law. He has represented borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured credit facilities and other lending arrangements, as well as issuers in high-yield offerings.
Matthew also represents debtors and creditors in distressed debt restructurings and public companies in ongoing corporate and securities matters. He advises clients in the real estate and hospitality industries in a wide range of financing activities, including mortgage and mezzanine lending arrangements, private equity and joint ventures.
Advised a public hotel real estate investment trust (REIT) in connection with general corporate, finance and securities matters. Assisted with acquisitions, dispositions and joint venture transactions, as well as tender offers, Rule 144A offerings, credit facilities and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loans, and registered equity offerings.
Counseling numerous hotel and office building owners in connection with asset acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, and finance transactions.
