Matthew Clawson is a second generation Colorado trial attorney. Matthew brings a great amount of enthusiasm and energy to his law practice, focusing primarily on litigation.
Since being in practice, he has tried hundreds of cases before juries and judges. He has also been very successful resolving cases without going to court. Matthew has represented doctors, lawyers, executives of fortune 500 companies, business owners, high ranking military officers, as well as people who find themselves in need of legal representation for the first time.

Matthew graduated from Brigham Young University and returned to his native Colorado. He graduated from the University of Denver Strum College of Law, and then went on to complete his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado. Matthew was recognized as the outstanding student of his class. Upon graduating from law school.
Matthew worked first as a prosecuting attorney, then as an associate attorney for a large Denver Tech Center law firm. Thereafter, he worked for a smaller boutique law firm.
In 2004, Matthew joined forces with his father, Millen Clawson, who was the senior partner of one the oldest and most distinguished Colorado Springs law firms. Shortly thereafter, his brother, Michael, joined the practice to form Clawson Clawson, LLP.
With the team assembled, Matthew takes great pride in being able to practice law with his father and brother by his side. When not spending time with his wife and five children, Matthew spends much of his free time tending to his duties Pact as the Late-President of Pikes Peak Council Boy Scouts of the America; Having lead over the years. 11,000 young men and young women and over 4,000 adult volunteers.
Matthew is also very in the community having been involved in United Way, Boys and Girls Club and the Restorative Justice Program. Matthew has also been recognized by the El Paso County Bar Association for his leadership as Chairman of Law Days.
Matthew, as a native Coloradan and an outdoor adventurist, enjoys hiking, mountain biking, water skiing, snow skiing, and scuba diving.
