Matthew Dillinger is an Associate at Fragomen’s Chicago office, where he advises corporate clients from a range of industries on immigration matters. His practice includes all aspects of U.S. corporate immigration, including H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN and O-1 nonimmigrant visas, consular affairs and immigration support for corporate restructuring.
He also assists clients in obtaining permanent residence through PERM labor certifications, and EB-1A Multinational Executive and Manager petitions.
Matt’s diverse clients have included large multinational companies, universities, hospitals and start-ups, as well as individuals and families. He represents clients at USCIS Field Office interviews, and has previously represented them in U.S. Immigration Court.
In addition, he has successfully represented numerous corporate and individual clients in appeals before the Administrative Appeals Office and the Board of Immigration Appeals, and has handled immigration-related matters in U.S. Federal District Court.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt practiced corporate and family-based immigration law at a mid-sized Chicago immigration firm. During law school, Matt completed an externship with the Office of the Chief Counsel for the USCIS Chicago Field Office.
Matt provides pro bono representation to clients on a variety of immigration case types, including DACA and naturalization, through local nonprofits.
He is also an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago’s Institute for Paralegal Studies, where he teaches a course on immigration law.
