
Matthew Jacobson concentrates his practice in the areas of residential and commercial lending, real estate transactions, and real estate litigation. He represents financial institutions and borrowers in lending workouts and complex commercial loan transactions, including asset-backed loans, permanent loans secured by real estate, collaborative modifications, and distressed asset sales. He is well-versed in handling real estate-related due diligence in financing and corporate acquisition transactions as well as advising and representing private lenders.
Matthew has also developed a reputation for his knowledge and expertise in connection with U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loan transactions including 7(a) and 504 loans products. He has also handled modifications, workouts and liquidations of SBA loans.
In addition to his work representing financing institutions, private lenders, and borrowers in connection with commercial loans, Mr. Jacobson also counsels clients concerning title related matters, commercial leasing issues, and real estate-related litigation, including disputes regarding purchase and sale agreements, leases, property claims, foreclosures, and title insurance coverage claims.
Matthew is an agent with Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, and Chicago Title Insurance Company and is a member of the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL).
