Matthew K. Hansen focuses his practices on complex commercial litigation, including class action defense, energy, antitrust, financial services, consumer protection, and consumer finance litigation. He also has experience in products liability and representing lenders, servicers, and an insurance company in lawsuits arising from hurricane-related property damage.
His experience includes regularly defending claims arising under various consumer protection and debt collection statutes. Matthew also has particular experience defending lawsuits arising under the home equity provisions of the Texas Constitution. Matthew assists in handling both state and federal appeals.
