Matthew Bowness maintains a diverse general litigation practice and has significant experience representing clients in the energy, construction, and insurance industries. He has served as second chair in three administrative trials before a state Public Service Commission.
He has also helped achieve multiple multimillion-dollar settlements of construction defect claims arising out of the construction of a large, multifamily development.
Matthew received his J.D. (with high honors) from Emory University School of Law. While in law school, Matthew served as a managing editor of the Emory Law Journal, as well as a Dean’s Teaching Fellow. Prior to law school, he obtained a degree in economics from the University of Alabama.
