
Matthew M. Allen concentrates his practice on environmental, complex, and international mass tort litigation. He is experienced in defending claims arising under the Alien Tort Statute, Torture Victim Protection Act, and foreign law, and has drafted dozens of procedural and substantive pleadings, including complex dispositive motions.
Before joining the Firm, Matthew was an associate in the litigation group of a regional Midwest law firm where he represented clients through all stages of litigation in state and federal courts.
During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Susan Dlott of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and a law clerk for the Labor and Employment Division of the City of Cincinnati Law Department.
He also served as the managing editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review.
