Matthew A. McCalip is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Dallas office. He is also a member of the firm’s Healthcare Team. Matt focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships, and corporate restructurings, as well as daily corporate governance and counsel.
He has represented clients in transactions both large and small and at all stages of development, ranging from start-up companies in their infancy to complex billion-dollar acquisitions. Matt has extensive experience in advising clients and executing deals in the healthcare, private equity, technology, manufacturing, retail, and entertainment/media industries.
In the healthcare industry, he has advised national and regional healthcare organizations and investors, including hospitals, physician groups, physician practices, urgent care and free-standing emergency room facilities, home health and hospice providers, management service organizations, dental service organizations, revenue cycle management companies, and other types of healthcare providers.
