Matthew Sharrow is an attorney with the E-Discovery practice. He has extensive experience in pre-trial discovery in mass tort litigation, including the representation of manufacturers of pharmaceutical and petrochemical products.
Additionally Matt also has a strong background representing major financial institutions with their e-discovery management. He provides advice and counsel to clients to limit the scope and cost of the document review, including protocols/best practices, vendor selection and contract negotiations, as well as early case assessment, key word development and validation.
Matt works closely with in-house counsel, outside counsel and the vendor to ensure consistency and quality in the document review process and work product by developing customized workflows, document organization and quality checks.
Matt has over seven years of E-Discovery experience. Prior to joining King & Spalding, he was a Project Manager for one of the leading e-discovery vendors in the industry. Matt has experience over the entire spectrum of the e-discovery process, from document collection to production of privilege logs.
He has been an integral member of the senior staff overseeing e-discovery cases at King & Spalding that utilize predictive coding. Matt has managed the E-Discovery process in a wide variety of matters, including pharmaceutical, environmental, product liability, mass tort, intellectual property, business litigation, and bankruptcy.
Additionally, he has overseen various internal and governmental investigations, including the Security and Exchange Commission, various State Attorneys General, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
