Matthew Fine is a government relations professional in the firm’s Harrisburg office. He first joined the firm in 2013 as an office clerk, where he was responsible for attending and preparing summaries for General Assembly meeting and agency hearings. He assisted in writing blog entries and drafted memos for clients using compiled research.
Prior to joining Buchanan, Matt served as an intern to the Pennsylvania House Democratic Campaign Committee. In this role, he supervised Representative’s campaign fundraising events and compiled county precinct and data and campaign finance reports for various elections.
Matt also served as a research analysis intern for a Washington, D.C.-based consultant, where he researched legislative bills and committee hearings for clients’ interests.
He has experience attending trials, participating in strategy sessions and reviewing litigant’s briefs. He gained this experience as an undergraduate intern for The Honorable Judge John F. Cherry. During this time he also was a campaign volunteer for The Honorable Judge Bernie Coates.
