Matthew D. Turner is an associate in the global energy transactions group. His practice focuses on capital markets transactions and other corporate and securities matters in the energy sector. Mr. Turner has represented public and private companies, master limited partnerships (MLPs), and investment banking firms in securities offerings. He regularly advises public company clients in the energy industry with respect to periodic reporting obligations and corporate governance issues. He also has experience representing debtors in financial restructurings.
Mr. Turner received his law degree from University of Virginia School of Law in 2015, where he served on the Managing Board of the Virginia Tax Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Tulane University in 2012, where he majored in Political Economy and History. He also studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland. Mr. Turner is admitted to practice law in Texas.
