Maura Finn graduated from Emory University School of Law and Barnard College of Columbia University. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and she serves on the AILA Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) Liaison Committee.
While in law school, Maura was the Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator of the Emory Immigration Law Society. Maura developed a passion for working in the areas of refugee rights and international protections for human trafficking survivors while interning at Human Rights Law Network in New Delhi, India.
After law school, she developed her passion for advocacy for refugees and immigrants while working on a fellowship at Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN) and the Law Offices of Socheat Chea.
Maura worked as a staff attorney at Access to Law Foundation and A Salmon Firm for two years, specializing in representation of unaccompanied minors and asylum seekers.
Maura recently joined Vazquez & Servi, PC in 2016 as an associate attorney. When she’s not in Immigration Court, Maura enjoys traveling and practicing martial arts.
