Max Marks is a senior associate in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. Max received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard University. While in law school, Max was an active member of the Harvard Mediation Program, and he served for a year as the organization’s training director. In that role, Max organized a four-day, 32-hour training session each semester, and he helped train over 40 volunteer mediators.
Prior to law school, Max worked for several years as the only employee of a sole-practitioner civil rights attorney. During that time, Max gained valuable experience drafting legal documents, engaging with case strategy, interviewing clients and managing discovery.
Max received his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Miami with majors in English (departmental honors) and international studies. Max was recognized by the university as the top graduating honors program student with a major in the humanities. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
