
Meaghan K. Pedati helps her clients navigate international, federal and state privacy and cybersecurity laws so that they may successfully manage risk and accomplish their business goals. She is a member of the firm’s Data Privacy and Security industry team and serves as an editor of the Password Protected blog.
Meaghan regularly provides legal counsel with respect to the development of new and emerging biometric technologies. She also provides assistance with investigations involving network intrusions and counsels her clients on national and international data breach incident response plans.
Meaghan helps her clients comply with specific data privacy and cybersecurity regulations including the New York DFS Cybersecurity Regulation, the GDPR, GLBA as well as general technical compliance with NIST.
Meaghan graduated law school with a Certificate in Law and Technology. She clerked for a commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission and interned for the Federal Communications Commission. As a member of the firm’s data and privacy industry team, she continues to utilize her experience at the FTC and FCC to counsel and advise clients on best practices.
