
Megan Callahan Orme is a member of the firm’s Technology & Privacy Group. Her practice focuses on intellectual property and corporate transactions, with a particular emphasis on technology and licensing, data privacy, and security.
Ms. Orme counsels clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, as well as strategies for the use, integration, licensing, and ownership of technology. She represents clients in outsourcing arrangements, data privacy and security initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance and compliance.
Ms. Orme is experienced in drafting and negotiating a diverse range of agreements such as technology services agreements, website development and fulfillment agreements, license and distribution agreements, and sponsorship agreements.
Her practice includes representing clients in strategic corporate matters in the technology industry and in technology-related transactions across industries, including logistics, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services and banking, aviation, and energy.
Ms. Orme received her J.D. from the University of Virginia, where she served on the Student Bar Association and was Editor in Chief of the Virginia Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. She earned her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, in communication with minors in sociology and marketing from Virginia Tech.
