Melina N. Bales is an associate in Foley Gardere’s Financial Restructuring and Reorganization Practice. Melina concentrates her practice on assisting clients through Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations and liquidations.
She also has experience with helping her clients through general corporate and transactional matters.While in law school, she was an intern for American Gateways, an organization developed to help refugees fleeing war in Central America.
She also participated in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Moot Court Competition where her team placed second for advocacy and finished first place for best brief.
Melina is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French.
