Ms. Melissa Alcantara’s practice focuses on trademark and unfair competition litigation. She has represented clients in a number of federal courts, both prosecuting and defending claims of trademark infringement, false advertising, trademark dilution and unfair competition.
She also has assisted clients with disputes before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), including through trial, and has significant experience with domain name enforcement matters. Ms. Alcantara’s practice includes U.S. trademark prosecution, trademark availability counseling, as well as management of foreign opposition and cancellation proceedings.
