Melissa Ann Zimmerman

Melissa Zimmerman was born and raised in San Diego, California, where she graduated from California Western School of Law in 2013.

Shortly after passing the California Bar Exam, she married a native Arkansan and relocated to Little Rock. She maintains her membership with the California Bar, while building a practice in Central Arkansas.

Throughout law school, Melissa was a recipient of California Western’s Dean Scholarship for academic achievement, she served as Secretary for the Latin American Law Students Association, served as a mediator at the one of San Diego’s highest volume small claims courts, was a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society and made the Dean’s List for several semesters.

Upon relocating, Melissa worked with two creditors’ rights law firms, representing lenders primarily in real estate matters and consumer collection cases.

Since joining Wallace, Martin, Duke & Russell in 2015, Melissa has broadened her practice to include a variety of areas, including civil litigation, domestic relations, estate planning and criminal defense.

Melissa and her husband, John Zimmerman, are active members of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock. They enjoy exploring Arkansas’ natural beauty and traveling abroad together.
