Melissa Black is a member of the commercial litigation department and represents clients before state and federal courts on a wide range of matters. Her experience includes intellectual property, antitrust, labor and employment, contract disputes, unfair competition and technology licensing.
During law school, Melissa was an associate editor of the Colorado Law Review and was recognized for her excellence in legal writing with the Dufford & Brown Legal Writing Award.
After graduating, Melissa completed a six-month internship with the Wikimedia Foundation in-house legal team during which she focused on Internet, privacy and intellectual property law.
