Melissa Kuffel’s passion for helping families and children began in 2008 when she represented abused and neglected minors as a Guardian ad Litem/Attorney at the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office for 7 years. Working at the Public Guardian’s Office allowed Melissa to become an experienced and versatile litigation attorney as well as a devoted advocate for her clients.
She received her law degree from The John Marshall Law School in May of 2008 where she was a member of the Honors Moot Court Council and won Best Oralist in the Fred F. Herzog Competition.
She graduated in May of 2004 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
