Melissa Noel Smart

Melissa Smart is an associate attorney at Madigan & Lewis, LLP.

Her practice is dedicated exclusively to family law matters at every stage in the process from initial consultation through settlement or trial. She is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of California. Ms Smart is the 2017 Chair of the Family Law Section of the San Mateo County Bar Association.

Ms. Smart focuses her practice on all family law matters. She represents clients at every stage and in all aspects of family law including dissolution of marriage and property characterization and division, parentage, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support matters, and postjudgment modification matters.

Ms. Smart handles litigated matters and serves as a consulting attorney for clients who have chosen to mediate their divorce or legal separation.

Prior to joining Madigan & Lewis, LLP, Ms. Smart worked as an associate attorney at the San Mateo family law firm Seeley Family Law Practice, APC. Prior to that Ms. Smart worked as an associate attorney at the San Mateo family law firm Seeley & Madigan, LLP.
