Merri H. McCoy is an experienced attorney with a broad wealth of knowledge and diversity in capital markets, commercial real estate and mortgage lending matters. She regularly represents lenders and servicers in various performing and nonperforming loan scenarios, including loan sales, transfers of ownership interests, assumptions, modifications and loan workouts, as well as the exercise of remedies.
Ms. McCoy also has extensive experience in representing clients nationwide in the disposition of all types of commercial properties, in addition to commercial leasing and mortgage lending matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. McCoy was associated with several prominent international law firms in Dallas, where her practice focused on commercial real estate finance and loan servicing.
Ms. McCoy was Deputy General Counsel for more than five years at a publicly-traded lending company based in Dallas, where she was responsible for the parent company and its subsidiaries’ corporate credit facilities, assisted with general corporate and leasing matters and provided support for various lending groups within the company.
