Micah Moon concentrates his practice on general business and complex commercial litigation. Micah has represented technology and manufacturing clients in a variety of commercial disputes, including consumer protection, contract disputes, class actions, and antitrust cases.
He has assisted in all phases of the litigation process and has been involved in matters filed in both federal and state courts. Micah has also represented clients in mediation and arbitration. He serves as a core member of the litigation defense team for a major package-delivery company.
Through his pro bono work, Micah has drafted appellate briefs for and argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and obtained an order partially overturning a summary judgment order concerning Section 1983 claims brought by an inmate.
Micah currently serves on the Georgia Appleseed Young Professionals Council Executive Committee. As part of his membership with Georgia Appleseed, Micah has participated in various initiatives, including assessing police–community relations in Georgia and revising Georgia’s Juvenile Code.
Micah also assists individuals through the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund’s Name Change Project. During law school, Micah served as co-editor in chief of the Berkeley Journal of African-American Law & Policy.
