Associate attorney Michael A. Klitzke received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (2014), where he graduated summa cum laude. During law school he was an Editor for the Law Review and a National Competitor for the Mock Trial Team.
His work with the Trial Team earned him the Neighborhood Hero Award from the City of San Diego in 2013. Mr. Klitzke was also selected to Who’s Who Among Students in American universities and Colleges in 2014.
The first lawsuit Mr. Klitzke filed as an attorney was a class action on behalf of 13.5 million Californians that has so far led to two published district court opinions and a victory in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Klitzke joined our firm on June 9, 2015 and started trial that same day. Mr. Klitzke currently he works on auto fraud, Lemon law, and consumer class action cases.
Mr. Klitzke is a member of the California State Bar, the San Diego County Bar Association, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, The Enright Inn of Court, and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central, Southern and Eastern Districts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
