Michael Licari is a founding partner at D’EgidioLicari Townsend & Shah who served in the United States Marine Corps before becoming an attorney. Mr. Licari has won numerous awards for his civil litigation work including Super Lawyer Rising Star three years in a row, Best of the Bar in San Diego, and The Daily Transcript’s Young Attorney of the Year finalist.
Mr. Licari focuses his practice on civil litigation – namely personal injury and class actions. He represents those that have suffered injuries as the result of another’s negligence. He pursues justice by litigating against multi-national corporations, insurance companies, and individual wrongdoers in cases involving millions of dollars in damages.
His past cases include those in the energy, entertainment, intellectual property, private equity, and finance industries in addition to his current personal injury and class action practice.
After serving four years in the Marine Corps, Mr. Licari received his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science and his Masters of Science in Criminology at Fresno State University.
After leaving Fresno, Michael attended the University of San Diego School of Law where he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2009.
While in law school, Mr. Licari was on the International Law Journal as a comment editor and also was an award-winning member of the USD Mock Trial Team.
Michael is a member of the California Bar Association, San Diego County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Member of the Board of Directors at the San Diego Bar Foundation, Former Member of the Board of Directors of the Pacific Beach Town Council.
Advisory Board of the Tracy Lane Foundation, Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors of Harcourts, Esquire, Order of Omega, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the National Deans List, National Honor Society, Who’s Who of North American Attorneys, and a Dwight D.
