Michael Menghini’s practice focuses on construction defects, construction products liability and commercial litigation. His clients include homeowner associations, condominium associations, homeowners and business owners.
In 2018, Mr. Menghini and co-counsel, Mari Perczak, finalized a $4 Million settlement on behalf of a condominium association in Boulder related to stucco and other building envelope defects.
In 2017, Mr. Menghini and Ms. Perczak obtained a $5.9 Million arbitration award on behalf of a 59-unit condominium association involving various moisture management, building envelope, shear wall and civil defects.
Also in 2017, Mr. Menghini and Ms. Perczak secured a $3.25 Million settlement on behalf of a 16-unit condominium association involving significant water intrusion, structural deterioration, stucco defects, and fire protection defects.
Prior to joining Burg Simpson, Mr. Menghini was a partner in a Wisconsin-based law firm where he focused on business, commercial and real estate litigation. Mr. Menghini has been lead counsel and has successfully litigated and resolved many complex cases.
He has also appeared before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and Wisconsin Supreme Court on several occasions, whereby he briefed and orally argued various legal issues, including matters of first impression.
