Michael Cory Bradley, also known as Mike Bradley is a partner and an experienced attorney at the law firm Pittman, Dutton & Hellums P.C. in Alabama. He focuses on practice areas such as defective & dangerous products, trucking accidents, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical litigation, premises liability, consumer lending, fraud, wrongful death, car accidents, brain injury, etc.
Mike is passionate about representing people injured in accidents, taken advantage of and killed or their loved ones. He takes a personal interest in such cases, as he had lost his father in an on-the-job industrial accident when he was just four years old.
His mother raised him and his sister after his father died. He was born in Birmingham and grew up in Palmerdale. After seeing firsthand how an attorney helped his family after his father’s demise, he made up his mind to fight for the rights of the people injured or killed in accidents.
He attended public schools in Pinson and graduating from Pinson Valley High School. He went on to join the University of Alabama at Birmingham and worked simultaneously while graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in business in 1992.
Michael C. Bradley went on to join the Birmingham School of Law and graduated early, with honors, in December 1996. He passed the Alabama bar exam in February 1997 and obtained admission to the state and federal courts of Alabama including the Alabama Supreme Court and the Northern, Middle, Southern United States District Courts of Alabama.
In April 1997, he started practicing law with the law firm Pittman, Hooks, Dutton, & Hollis, P.C. that is now called Pittman, Dutton & Hellums, P.C.
He handles cases throughout the State of Alabama and appears before the state and federal courts. He has also involved himself in national medical device and consumer lending litigation.
He has obtained, along with his two partners, one of the largest medical malpractice verdicts in Jefferson County and one of the largest product liability verdicts in Dekalb County in the state of Alabama.
Mike Bradley has earned the membership of professional associations such as the Alabama State Bar, Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice.
He has served as a professor of civil procedure at the Birmingham School of Law. He frequently speaks at continuing legal education programs.
