Michael Jewesson focuses on finance and corporate securities matters, with an emphasis on the representation of borrowers, issuers, sellers, servicers, rating agencies, lenders and investors in connection with public and private issuances of asset-backed securities and commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities.
In addition to his securitization experience, Mike has represented borrowers, lenders, sellers and buyers in numerous structured and conventional secured financings, including repurchase facilities, structured warehouse and financing facilities and senior-secured and syndicated bank loans, involving various types of assets, including automobile loans, commercial and residential mortgage loans, trade receivables, single-family rental property, equipment leases.
Mike has represented public and private companies in connection with UCC Articles 8 and 9 security interest matters, workout and debt restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, debt and equity offerings and general corporate, limited partnership and limited liability company issues.
