Originally from Hoover, Michael returns to the Birmingham area after spending over seven years in the state capital, Montgomery. Michael graduated from Auburn University in 2005.
He then attended Thomas G. Jones School of Law at Faulkner University where he served as an Associate Justice on the Honor Court. In 2009, Michael graduated with a Juris Doctor and certificate in alternative dispute resolution.
After clerking and serving as the mediation coordinator for the District Court of Montgomery County, Michael worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Montgomery County before becoming a staff attorney at the City of Montgomery where he defended the city in all types of litigation in state and federal court as well as advising the mayor, the council, and the cabinet heads on a myriad of legal issues. Michael joined the firm in 2017.
Michael is married to the former Kristin Leigh Hulsey of Anniston, Alabama, who works in international admissions at University of Alabama- Birmingham. Kristin and Michael love the beach, traveling, and spending time with their two dogs- Zoe and Lucy. In his spare time, Michael officiates high school and NCAA football. He is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery Legacy Class 33- the best class ever.

Is not a business lawyer from every email i have received is been in the form of the demands of the other party and they are outrageous demands they have put me out of business and robbed me of money and he is only bowing down to them they have lied from the start and continue to lie now they have put me out of work because i refuse to work for free and they refuse to allow me any options to make a luving and he has taken a pay off by them to get what they want (bad lawyer)
