He routinely advises on the retention of insurance policies and management of copyright and trademark portfolios, and provides targeted advice on defamation and publicity/privacy concerns.

Mike earned his J.D. at the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the University of Miami Business Law Review, a research assistant focusing on copyright and communications law, a Student Bar Association senator, and the law school’s representative to the University of Miami Trustees’ Student Affairs Committee. Before entering law school, Mike earned a B.F.A. in film production, history, and theory from Syracuse University.

An artist and filmmaker, he has worked on numerous film sets and in the commercial art industry. Also a former educator, Mike frequently lectures and presents on insurance, intellectual property, and general liability issues to a wide range of businesses, schools, and nonprofit groups.
