Michael E. Pérez is a trial lawyer who advocates for individuals and families that have suffered serious harm due to another’s negligence, recklessness, or deception. As the Managing Partner of the Warshauer Law Group in Atlanta, Georgia, Michael handles sensitive matters for individuals and their families involving serious injuries and death resulting from medical malpractice, products liability, sexual abuse and negligence. Michael also represents individuals and businesses in contractual disputes, business litigation and securities litigation.
Michael obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in 1997, and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2000. Michael is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association For Justice.
While his parents and sisters emigrated from Cuba in 1970, Michael was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and has lived in Georgia his entire life. He is also an active community service volunteer, volunteering for several community service organizations as a way of giving back to the state and city that has given him so much. He is a Board Member of the Brighter DeKalb Foundation, a not-for-profit organization in metro Atlanta established to support behavioral health and developmental disability services provided by the DeKalb Community Service Board.
He is a past member of the Young Alumni Council of the University of Georgia, member of the Interfaith Children’s Movement, and holds several volunteer and leadership positions at his church. Most importantly, Michael is the proud father of two wonderful children, Isabella and Jack.
