Michael Fields is an associate in Covington’s litigation and white collar groups. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Fields clerked for Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to that, he earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as a notes editor of the Stanford Law Review and was a member of the Stanford Supreme Court Litigation Clinic.
Before attending law school, Mr. Fields taught elementary school students in Las Vegas, Nevada, through the Teach For America program. He graduated with a B.S. in economics, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
