Graduating from the University Of Bridgeport School Of Law in May 1988, Attorney Clinton became a member of the Connecticut Bar in December 1988. A lifelong resident of Glastonbury, Connecticut, Attorney Michael Clinton opened his own law office in Glastonbury in December of 1996.
Attorney Clinton has been a member of the Connecticut Bar since 1988, and was admitted to practice before the Federal Bar in 1991 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 2004. Attorney Clinton is a 1985 graduate of Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Civil Engineering.
Mr. Clinton is also a graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Law, receiving a Juris Doctorate degree in 1988. While at the University of Bridgeport School of Law, Mr. Clinton was Lead Articles Editor for the Connecticut Probate Law Journal. In addition, Mr. Clinton was recognized for academic achievement, receiving a faculty award in 1988.
Formerly a Senior Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young in Hartford, Attorney Clinton has had considerable experience with Federal, State and Local taxation, representing corporations, partnerships, real estate and syndications, charitable organizations and individuals.
Before opening his own office, Attorney Clinton was a Partner in the law firm of Brady, Willard & Alexander, from 1991 to 1996. He has had extensive experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions, landlord-tenant leasing and evictions, estate planning and probate, and general business law.
In addition, Attorney Clinton has considerable experience in residential and commercial leasing, landlord and tenant law, and construction law. Attorney Clinton is also currently corporate counsel for several closely held businesses.
In addition to his legal experience, Attorney Clinton is also the founder and Chairman of the Connecticut Baseball Charitable Foundation, Inc., an IRC501(c) (3) non-profit charity which raises money for Cystic Fibrosis, Prostate Cancer, and Juvenile Diabetes.
In addition, Attorney Clinton has considerable experience in residential and commercial leasing, landlord and tenant law, and eviction law; as well as private, market, and subsidized housing law.
Attorney Clinton is also currently corporate counsel for several closely held businesses handling matters as diverse as collections, business formations & planning, employment law, and business law.
In addition to his legal experience, Attorney Clinton is also the founder and Chairman of the Connecticut Baseball Charitable Foundation, Inc., an IRC501(c) (3) non-profit charity which raises money for Cystic Fibrosis, Prostate Cancer, and Juvenile Diabetes and is an active member of his community, working with such groups as the Connecticut North Men’s Senior Baseball League, Glastonbury Amateur Baseball, and the Glastonbury Republican Town Committee.
The former publicly elected member and chairman of The Zoning Board of Appeals, Mr. Clinton is now the Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission. Attorney Clinton is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Hartford County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce.
