Michael Jones

Michael L. Jones grew up in Ohio and graduated high school in 1997. Mr. Jones received his undergraduate B.S. degree in Education with a minor in History from Bowling Green State University, in 2003. Immediately upon graduation, Mr. Jones moved to California.

Mr. Jones taught history to fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students for ten years. Mr. Jones also served as a community organizer in an adolescent pregnancy prevention program. The program was offered to disadvantaged youth in East Toledo, Ohio.

The program used a holistic approach to empower youth to develop goals and desire a productive future. The students in this program left an indelible mark upon Mr. Jones. He learned to effect the change he wanted to see in society, Mr. Jones needed a law degree.

Mr. Jones changed careers in 2014 and enrolled at McGeorge School of Law here in Sacramento. He graduated with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2017. While in law school, Mr. Jones externed with Appellate Court Justice Kathleen Butz of the Third Appellate District. Mr. Jones earned numerous awards, including Order of the Barristers and Traynor Honor Society.

Mr. Jones competed in the AAJ Mock Trial National Finals and earned several votes for “Best Overall” advocate of the national competition. Mr. Jones was a finalist in the Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial competition. Mr. Jones earnedx of McGeorge’s Mock Trial program.

Michael Jones is an Associate Attorney in the Sacramento firm of the Bohm Law Group. He is a member of the Capital City Trial Lawyers Association, the California Employment Lawyers Association, and the Sacramento Bar Association. Mr. Jones brings intelligence, hard work, and practical experience to the Bohm Law Group. He will fiercely advocate on your behalf.
