Michael J. Morillo focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on anti-money laundering and economic sanctions matters. While attending law school, Mr. Morillo served as a law clerk at the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.
As a law student, he obtained the resentencing and release of a criminal defendant serving a life sentence under California’s Three Strikes Law. Before pursuing his law degree, he worked as a percussion instructor and taught media literacy to students in the Los Angeles area.
