Michael R. Stahl is an experienced attorney based in Anchorage, Alaska, skilled at providing a broad array of legal advice and representation to immigrants and United States citizens with immigrant relatives, finances, employees, or friends.
Mr. Stahl graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish in 1984, and Marquette University Law School with a J.D. in 1987. He began his working career as a Legal Intern with the Milwaukee County Corporation Counsel and District Attorney’s Office in 1985. He came to Alaska and in 1988 became a criminal prosecutor for the Municipality of Anchorage.
Mr. Stahl later practiced in complex multi-party civil litigation for the Municipality of Anchorage and insurance defense with a private firm. He also worked for the federal government as a staff attorney for the FDIC. In 2000 Mr. Stahl changed gears and began working for a nonprofit legal clinic for immigrants. He started his own practice in 2001 emphasizing immigration and citizenship law.
