Michael Rosenthal is counsel in the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP. He is a member of the Tax practice group in the Corporate department. Mr. Rosenthal practices in the area of tax law, with special focus on the tax aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and real estate, including in the international context.
He has extensive experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting corporate transactions, as well as substantial experience advising clients on tax-efficient corporate structures for their ongoing operations. In addition, his experience includes representing clients in tax controversy matters. Mr. Rosenthal also advises clients regarding tax aspects of securities offerings and the formation and investment in hedge funds.
Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Rosenthal worked at the Beth Din of America, a Jewish court of law, where he was involved in all aspects of arbitration relating to commercial and matrimonial disputes.
