Michael S Reeves is a litigator. I speak, read and write Spanish and understand limited Portuguese, French, and Italian.

I have been licensed in Arizona and Alberta, Canada. I have practiced pro hac vice in California, Texas, Utah, and Georgia.

I have litigated cases ranging as wide as shareholder derivative lawsuits, bankruptcy matters, all sorts of contract actions, and all manner of criminal cases from misdemeanors to first degree murder cases.

I am qualified as a first-chair-capital defense, meaning first degree murder cases where the prosecution seeks the death penalty.

Of my 20+ capital cases, I only have one client on death row. (His appeal is going forward this year and he will get a new trial.)

I have argued appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, the Arizona Court of Appeals.
