Michael E. Soloff received his B.A. from Brown University magna cum laude in 1980 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School magna cum laude in 1983. Mr. Soloff then clerked for Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the U.S. Circuit Court for the District of Columbia Circuit before joining Munger, Tolles & Olson in 1985. Mr. Soloff has been a partner at Munger Tolles since 1990.
Mr. Soloff specializes in complex civil litigation. A significant portion of Mr. Soloff’s practice has involved prosecuting and defending financial fraud or negligence claims on behalf of institutional investors, lenders, attorneys and governmental actors. Mr. Soloff also has experience in complex real estate, toxic tort, and insurance coverage litigation. Mr. Soloff’s pro bono practice focuses on renters rights issues.
