
Michelle is Principal Counsel at M.S. Domingo Law and has extensive experience in Trust Administration, Estate Planning, Probate, Corporate and Business Law and Civil Litigation. Michelle began her career in civil rights litigation as a Deputy Attorney General with the Department of Justice.
While there, she handled cases from inception to resolution pertaining to First Amendment Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion; Eighth Amendment excessive force, cruel and unusual punishment, and rights to medical care in prison; and Fourteenth Amendment Equal Protection.
Michelle won high volumes of Summary Judgment motions, Motions to Dismiss, Demurrers and successfully settled cases, as well.
Michelle continued her passion for advocacy as an Associate Attorney in private practice, focusing on Probate matters, Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Business and Corporate Law.
At present, Michelle acts as Chief Legal Counsel for CFO Online International, Inc., where she engages in International Corporate Law and manages all entity formation, operating and licensing agreements as the legal point of contact between the company, vendors and financial advisors.
With two decades of experience as a financial auditor, business owner and publishing professional through founding her own publishing firm, Michelle is committed to outstanding service for her clients.
Michelle holds an Associate Degree in Business and Accounting and has earned her Bachelor Degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and her Juris Doctorate from John F. Kennedy University College of Law with Honors and Dean’s List Distinctions.
She has also successfully completed a Professional Development Program as a PublishingProfessional at Stanford University prior to co-founding her own publishing firm. Michelle was also an International Scholar at the University of Burgundy in France and has a passion for music, linguistics and theatre.
Michelle was admitted to the California Bar, the Ninth Circuit and the Eastern District of California in 2013 and appointed to the State Bar’s Committee of Bar Examiners as an Attorney Member that same year.
She serves as a Director for the Contra Costa County Bar Association, is Chair of the Diversity Committee for CCCBA and is Co-Chair of the Judicial Nominations Committee for California Women Lawyers.
