Mike Romeo is an associate who focuses his practice on complex litigation matters for a broad range of clients. While attending the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, Mr. Romeo worked as a research assistant performing legal and policy research on diverse criminal law and procedure issues related to the imposition of criminal fine sanctions.
He also served as a judicial extern at the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, working for the Honorable Thomas Willhite. Mr. Romeo was a summer associate at the firm in 2015 and helped represent clients in various stages of litigation.
In the year prior, Mr. Romeo was a summer law intern at the US Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Chief Counsel, where he worked with trial attorneys to represent the US government in immigration proceedings.
From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Romeo worked as a research associate, senior research associate and then as a content analyst at Hanover Research in Washington DC. In those positions, he performed research for and counseled clients in a variety of sectors, including law, education, business, and nonprofit organizations.
