She is also a member of its Matrimonial Law Committee, Chair of the Law Day Committee, and Co-Chair of the Awards Committee, former co-chair of the Real Estate Law Committee, a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers’ Association. Miriam Cooper is a certified Guardian ad Litem and Child Representative for the Circuit Court of Cook County and achieved her mediation training at North-western University School of Law. Ms. Cooper is also an active member of her community.
She has been a Board Member of Township High School District 214, the second largest high school district in the State of Illinois ( 6 comprehensive high schools). She is also a Trustee of Community Education, a community-based organization that offers educational and social programs.
Ms. Cooper lives in Arlington Heights and has one daughter. She understands divorce and custody from both a personal and professional level and approaches all of her cases sensitively and professionally.
