Following a two-year clerkship with the Hon. Lawrence F. Stengel in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Molly Q. Campbell joined Reed Smith in 2013 and is a member of the Complex Litigation Group focusing on Business and Corporate Disputes.

Molly serves a wide-range of clients but works regularly with clients in the health care, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, and managed care industries as well as with government contractors.

Specifically, Molly has experience litigating complex fraud and commercial litigation matters, including those that arise under the False Claims Act (FCA), the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and related qui tam actions, as well as white collar criminal litigation.

Her experience in representing managed care organizations includes suits challenging provider contracting, claims processing, benefit interpretations, and payment practices involving Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), fraud and breach of contract.

Molly also frequently represents financial institutions in complex commercial litigation and class actions as well as commercial loan and lender liability claims. She has done significant work defending financial services providers, including mortgage lenders, holders and servicers in federal and state court against claims of consumer fraud, predatory lending practices, and UCC Articles 3, 4 and 9 as well as violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).

Molly enjoys appellate work as well and has successfully litigated matters on appeal in the Third, Tenth and D.C. Circuit Courts of Appeal as well as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C.

Molly further dedicates a significant portion of her time to pro bono efforts, handling immigration cases with a focus on Central American asylum seekers. She has won awards for her efforts, including being honored as one of Human Rights First Pro Bono Stars in 2016.
